Earlier this week, three Cheatham County School Resource Officers made the day of a young Cheatham County girl who was celebrating her birthday.
Scott Barnes, Sgt. Mike Haves, and Jesse James visited Kinsley Simpson at her Ashland City home on Wednesday, April 8.
Because Simpson could not have the party she wanted to due to social isolation, the kid-loving trio from the sheriff's office brought her a bear, cookies, and cotton candy. The SROs also let young Kinsley play with the blue lights and siren.
The visit and experience made her day, sources say.
