Known best for their barbecue, ribs, loaded potatoes, and wings, Whitt's Barbecue opened its doors to its Pleasant View location in early July. On Tuesday, September 22, franchisee Ricky Jenette stood beside family, staff, and members of the community for a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Cheatham Co. Chamber of Commerce.
Jenette, who also owns the Ashland city location, had looked into the possibility of expanding into Pleasant View for a few years. The areas recent boom in growth gave him the fire to take the leap.
“Whitt's has been a great addition to Pleasant View, and we love to see locals expand their businesses right here at home,” said Misty Keenan, chamber director. “This new location has seen great success so far, even drawing in people from Coopertown, Chapmansboro, and Joelton.”
Housed inside approximately 1,800 square feet of building space, the Pleasant View Whitt's offers inside dining as well as a convenient drive-through window.

Since first opening in Antioch in 1978, Whitt’s Barbecue has been voted “Best of Nashville” and grown to over 20 locations in Middle Tennessee.
