The annual Veterans Day ceremony, previously held on the Cheatham County Courthouse lawn, will be moved to the new Cheatham County Veterans Memorial Park this year.
The program, expected to last about an hour, will be held on November 11 at 11AM, and will include representatives from all the major Veterans organizations with a presence in Cheatham County, the county's Veteran Service Officer, and both local and area dignitaries.
The park, located at the corner of Highway 49 and bell Street, was dedicated in May and boasts monuments to Veterans past and present, and provides a place to honor Veterans on their day of remembrance.
The public is encouraged to attend and show their support.
