Unused P-EBT Benefits Will Expire

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced that the federal COVID-19 Public Health Emergency ended on May 11, 2023. As a result, the P-EBT Program will not be issuing further P-EBT benefits as the program has ended.

Unused P-EBT benefits will be removed from the P-EBT cards 274 days from the benefit issuance date.

The Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) has distributed P-EBT benefit payments to eligible children for the School Year 2022-2023, Summer 2023, and Administrative Review 2023 on existing P-EBT cards or new P-EBT cards. Parents are encouraged to utilize their benefits within 274 days from benefit issuance.

To check the balance of P-EBT cards, parents can visit https://www.connectebt.com/ or call 1-888-997-9444 (the number on the back of your card). Parents can visit the P-EBT Parent Portal (https://onedhs.tn.gov/parent) to check past distribution dates of their benefits.
