TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center will host a groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday, June 30, for TriStar Pleasant View ER, a new freestanding emergency room planned for the southeast corner of US-41 ALT and Highway 49 W.
The 11-room facility will be Pleasant View’s first freestanding emergency room and will provide 24/7 emergency care for the growing Pleasant View community and surrounding areas.
The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m., with a reception to follow. TriStar NorthCrest Chief Executive Officer Pete Long-Innes, hospital physicians and community leaders are expected to attend.
“We are proud to bring high-quality emergency care closer to home for the Pleasant View community,” said Christine Lunger, chief nursing officer at TriStar NorthCrest. “This investment reflects our commitment to expanding access to life-saving services while being a good neighbor. Our team is ready to provide expert care, 24 hours a day, every day of the year.”
The facility will be state-of-the-art and fully equipped to handle critical emergencies such as stroke, cardiac arrest, traumatic injuries, and conditions that go beyond the capabilities of urgent care centers.
