Thursday evening April 8, the Cheatham County Cubs traveled across town to take on the Sycamore War Eagles for an inner-city soccer match.
The first half found both teams moving the ball well and playing excellent defense throughout the beginning. But with just over 12 minutes remaining in the first half, the War Eagles netted two quick scores and never looked back.
The second half was a continuation of the first half with the home team moving the ball rapidly and scoring often.
At the end of regulation play, the home team War Eagles had secured a 7-0 victory.
