Sycamore came out ahead in the Battle of the County (Angie Camper)
On Thursday, January 13, 2022, Cheatham County Central High hosted the Annual Battle of the County team dual wrestling matches between the three county high schools: Cheatham County Central, Sycamore, and Harpeth High.
Each High School wrestled for the chance to take the coveted trophy and bragging rights of the best high School dual wrestling team in the Cheatham County.
Sycamore wrestled Harpeth in the first dual where Sycamore defeated Harpeth by a score of 45-27.

The second dual of the evening was a nail-biter, as Harpeth ultimately defeated Cheatham County Central in the last match of the dual for an overall score of 33-30.
The third dual of the evening secured Sycamore as the dominant team in the county this season, with a defeat of Cheatham County Central by a score of 58-12.
