Sycamore, Cheatham Celebrate Senior Wrestlers

On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, Sycamore High School hosted a tri-meet with McCracken County, KY and White House High School. After McCracken County and White House battled each other, Sycamore conducted their senior night, paying tribute to Gavin Smith, Dylan Davenport, and Trey Moreland. Following the ceremony, Sycamore wrestled McCracken County and White House in separate duel meets. Despite Sycamore's best efforts, they lost to McCracken County (29 - 36), followed by a loss to White House (27 - 39).

On Wednesday, December 20, 2023, Cheatham County Central High School hosted a tri-meet with Montgomery Central High School and Martin Luther King (MLK) High School. After Montgomery Central and MLK wrestled each other, Cheatham conducted their senior night, recognizing their eight seniors: Justin Andrews, Sumner Boyd, Landon Morris, Ethan Steele, Adan Alvarez, Jason Jines, Seth Biggs, and Amanda Thomason. Cheatham went on to defeat Montgomery Central (42 - 36) and MLK (60 - 12) in separate duel meets. Amanda Thomason was also successful in defeating both Montgomery Central and MLK's female opponents on the evening.
