Sycamore and Cheatham Advance Wrestlers to TSSAA State Championship

The TSSAA Section 4A High School Wrestling Championship was held at Millington High School in Millington, Tennessee, on Friday and Saturday, February 13 and 14, 2026. The Girls Division competed on Friday, followed by the Boys Division on Saturday. The top four wrestlers from each weight class qualified to advance to the TSSAA State High School Wrestling Championship, scheduled for February 19 and 20, 2026.

In the final qualifying step before the state tournament, Sycamore High School qualified three wrestlers, while Cheatham County Central High School qualified nine wrestlers.

Sycamore State Qualifiers:

• Brendan Monroe — 1st place, 113 lbs

• Zayden Parker — 2nd place, 120 lbs

• Colton Long — 3rd place, 175 lbs

  
  

Cheatham County Central State Qualifiers:

• Frankie Guiterrez — 2nd place, 113 lbs

• Joseph McCutcheon — 4th place, 120 lbs

• Magnus Johnson — 3rd place, 126 lbs

• Aiden Moore — 3rd place, 132 lbs

• Walker Hobbs — 1st place, 144 lbs

• Jesse Carney — 4th place, 150 lbs

• Nick Hargrove — 2nd place, 157 lbs

• Liam Wilson — 4th place, 215 lbs

• Roger Gonzalez — 1st place, 285 lbs

  
  

These wrestlers will represent their schools at the TSSAA State High School Wrestling Championship this weekend.
