SHS, SMS Band Members Selected for Honor Band

On Saturday, February 5, 2022, several members of the Sycamore Middle School and Sycamore High School band programs travelled to Clarksville to audition for the Gateway Music Association Honor Band. Sycamore band members competed against students from the following counties to earn a spot in the honor band: Houston, Montgomery, Stewart, and Fort Campbell.

Sycamore Middle School announced that five members of their eighth-grade band were selected for honor band. These students are:

• Jackson Reed - 1st Chair Euphonium

• Eli Scott - 1st Chair Percussion

• James Boudreau - 2nd Chair Trombone

• Brody Goodman - 2nd Chair Alto Saxophone

• Aiden Unklesbay - 2nd Chair Trumpet

Sycamore High School also announced that five members of the high school band were selected for honor band. These students are:

• Zach Tucker - 1st Chair Flute

• Camerin Casesa - 2nd Chair Tuba

• Josh Reed - 5th Chair Trumpet

• Gavyn Murphy - 7th Chair Percussion

• Jackson Earle - 8th Chair Trumpet
  

The Gateway Honor Band Weekend will be held at West Creek High School on February 17-19, 2022.
