
Earlier this week, the Cheatham County Public Library received two grants that will help cover the costs of extended WIFI and new computers.
On Tuesday, October 20, Secretary of State Tre Hargett and local legislators presented grants to Middle Tennessee libraries.
Cheatham County received a technology grant in the amount of $1,1182, and $249 in the form of a CARES grant.
"With funds from the LSTA Technology and CARES grants, we will be purchasing extended WiFi and new computers for Cheatham County Public Library," says Cheatham County Public Library Director May Lingner. "We are so grateful to be among the recipients of these grants made available to libraries across Tennessee."
