The Cheatham County School District will celebrate Read Across America Week Feb. 27-March 3 with special dress-up days and activities. Many of the district's schools have shared on their social media platforms and in their newsletters their schedules for the week.
Launched in 1998 by the National Education Association, Read Across America helps motivate students to read and celebrates the birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel – otherwise known by the pen name by which he authored children's books: Dr. Seuss.
