Reflections Orthodontics Expands to Pleasant View

With the area growing rapidly, the need for nearby health and dental options has increased. To help meet that demand, an orthodontic group based out of Clarksville has expanded their reach and opened a new location in Pleasant View.

Located at 2524 Hwy 49E, Reflections Orthodontics will be offering orthodontic services twice a month to start; on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the office will be open from 7:45AM to 5:00PM.

Treating both children and adults, Reflections Orthodontics offers free new-patient consultations and flexible payment plans with no interest. They accept Delta, Metlife, United Concordia, BCBS, and many other insurance carriers.

Along with traditional braces and Invisalign options, clients will also receive treatment with cutting-edge technology; with the use of a 3D iTero Digital Scanner, "messy impressions" are eliminated.

In addition to the office manager, Gloria Henshaw, being with the practice for over 30 years, several other staff members have also stuck around for decades- ensuring that patients have the pleasure of seeing familiar faces time and time again. Priding themselves on excellent service, experience, and hospitality, patients will always be welcomed as "one of the family" at Reflections.

"We want our guests' time in treatment here to be an experience," Dr. Scott Blackman says. "As soon as you enter our doors, we want you to feel the difference."

Dr. Blackman joined the practice in 1996 after receiving his undergraduate and dental education from the University of Tennessee, where he also completed his postgraduate orthodontic residency. Dr. Blackman is also a graduate of the World Clinical Laser Institute for laser dentistry with Level II certification, and is a graduate of the Ritz Carlton Leadership Center for service excellence. He is an officer in the Tennessee Dental Association and is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Tennessee Dental Association, Southern Association of Orthodontics, Tennessee Association of Orthodontics, and the Eighth District Dental Society.

Dr. Blackman has been married to his wife, Jennifer, since 1995 and they have three sons: Connor, Griffin, and Brennan. When he is not creating "designer smiles," he is a competitive triathlete and runner, having competed in eight Ironman Triathlons and over 27 marathons.

Dr. Nicolas Bisig joined the Reflections team in June 2020. He received his dental degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, and completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Colorado in Denver where he was the top resident in his class. He and his wife, Courtney, have two daughters: Lauren and Natalie. In his spare time, Dr. Bisig enjoys fishing, traveling, and University of Georgia football.
