Pleasant View Elementary School principal Jason Pierschbacher got a new haircut on Monday, May 10, to celebrate a major fundraising accomplishment.
Pierschbacher challenged students to raise $20,000 for the school's PTO Panther Prowl Fun Run held last week.
According to the Cheatham County School District, the students surpassed that amount, raising $38,570.
Proceeds from the Panther Prowl will be used to improve and enhance the school's playground.
