Two young Pleasant View AAU wrestlers recently made names for themselves at the state wrestling tournament held on March 5, 2023.
Colton Long, eighth-grader at Sycamore Middle School, and Tyler Knight, seventh-grader at Sycamore Middle School, each placed in the tournament which was held at the Farm Bureau Expo Center in Lebanon.
Long, who wrestles for an AAU program based out of Springfield, Tennessee, placed fourth in the state for his weight class (152lbs). Knight, who wrestles for an AAU program out of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, placed second in the state for his weight class (70lbs).
