Pleasant View Woman Arrested on Stalking, Harassment Charges

A Pleasant View woman has been arrested following an investigation into threats and harassing messages allegedly sent through social media to a Tennessee politician and one of the politician's relatives.
According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, agents joined the Williamson County Sheriff's Office and Tennessee Homeland Security on May 12 at the request of 21st Judicial District Attorney General Stacey Edmonson to investigate the reported threats and messages. During the investigation, authorities developed evidence alleging that Elizabeth Leopard, 22, was responsible for sending the communications.
On Wednesday, a Williamson County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Leopard with one count of Aggravated Stalking – 65 Years or Older, one count of Stalking, and six counts of Harassment.
On June 4, 2026, TBI agents arrested Leopard at her home in Pleasant View. She was booked into the Williamson County Jail and is being held on a $100,000 bond.
As with all criminal cases, the charges and allegations are accusations only. Leopard is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
