William Samuel Balthrop, age 77 of Chapmansboro, Tennessee, died Friday, October 9, 2020 at NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield.
Mr. Balthrop was born on February 27, 1943, in Chapmansboro, Tennessee to the late R.W. and Lottie M. Black Balthrop. He was retired after 30 years from A.O Smith. He loved working and being on the farm, but his greatest love was going to auctions to find a great deal. William was a member of Head’s Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Charles Balthrop; nephew, Jeff Balthrop; and niece, Fawn Watts Ellis. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Bonnie Balthrop; sons, Greg Balthrop, Ron (Helen) Balthrop; sisters, Judy (Loel) Watts, Sue (Johnny) Palmore; and grandchildren, Caroline and Olivia Balthrop.
