Tom R. Boyd, age 93 of Clarksville, Tennessee, died Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Signature Health Care.
Mr. Boyd was born on June 13, 1927 in Montgomery County, Tennessee to the late James Jackson and Laura Basford Boyd. He was a farmer and played baseball for Browns Store in the 1950’s. He dearly loved his cat “Fatboy” and was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Louis Boyd, Harold Boyd, and Gordon Boyd; and sisters, Maydelle Sanders, Gus Knox, and Louise Nicholson.
He is survived by his nephews, Ronnie (Susie) Boyd, and Eddie (Beth) Boyd; nieces, Betty (Phil) Welker, and Patsy (Harold) Corlew; special friends, Pookie & Beverly Davis, and Rick & Diana Vaughn; and loving great-nieces & great-nephews.
