Terry “Michael” Scarbrough, age 57 of Ashland City, Tennessee, died Friday, July 2, 2021 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
Funeral services will be held at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View on Wednesday, July 7th at 7PM with his brother, Anthony Scarbrough sharing some family memories. Burial will take place on Thursday, July 8th at 11:00AM at Memorial Gardens of Wayne County, 1038 Natural Bridge Rd, Waynesboro, Tennessee 38485 with Anthony Scarbrough, Aaron Scarbrough, Steve Scarbrough, Kevin Marks, Brandon Coggins, and Steve Sullivan serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 7th, from 3:00PM until the hour of service at 7:00PM.
Michael was born on November 5, 1963 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Johnny Merle & Robbie Jo Kilpatrick Scarbrough.
He has worked in construction for over 20 years at Tenant Building Group in Nashville. Everywhere that Mike went, he was sure to make you smile or even tell a joke to brighten your day. He was a hardworking man and never gave up; always giving a helping hand and would give you the shirt off his back. He loved the outdoors and tinkering on his projects.
Mike always had a cigarette in one hand and a beer in the other, wearing his jeans and boots. He will be missed by many.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Scarbrough.
He is survived by a son, Matthew Scarbrough; daughter, Brittany (Donald) Cramer; brothers, Anthony (Rhonda) Scarbrough, Steve Scarbrough; sister, Sonja (Kevin) Marks; and grandchildren, Kaiden and Hudson Cramer.
