Obituary: Saundra “Saunie” Richey, 78Saundra “Saunie” Richey, age 78, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020, at The Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee. Saundra was born on November 9, 1941, in Nashville, Tennessee. She was a graduate of Litton High School and Tennessee Tech. She was a buyer in the fashion industry and alongside her husband owned and operated a capacitor business for over 33 years. She and her husband loved to play tennis and travel the world before their illnesses. Saundra is preceded in death by her parents, O.G. and Erlene Taylor Conlee; son, Paul Jeffery Harris; brother, Don Conlee and her four-legged schnauzers, Nike and Lexie. She is survived by her husband, Roy Richey; daughter-in-law/caregiver, Paula Harris (Tim Rittenberry); grandchildren, Kayla Powell, Drake, Nick, Josh and Joey Harris; sister, Carolyn Conlee Harvey and her daughter, Kim Harvey Butler; sister-in-law, Mary Conlee and her children, Lade Conlee and Michelle Wright; and cousins, Peggy Dunn and Cathy Proctor. A memorial visitation with service immediately following will be Sunday, November 1, 2020, from 12 Noon until 2pm hour of service in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home in Ashland City, Tennessee with Pastor Jon Forrest officiating.
