Sarah “Ann” Coles, age 78 of Ashland City, Tennessee, died Friday, October 23, 2020 at the home of her niece in Joelton.
Mrs. Coles was born on April 26, 1942 in Ashland City, Tennessee to the late Claude B. Neal and Lucille M. Binkley Barnes. She was retired from the Department of Revenue for the State of Tennessee and was loved by all. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her step-father, Charlie Barnes.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, John Coles; son, Jonathan Coles; brother, Murray (Dean) Neal; sisters, Frances Felts, and Mary Ethel (Ken) Elam; loving nieces & nephews, Karen (Troy) Galbreath, Beth (Randy) Harris, Don (Pam) Felts, Kevin (Melissa) Neal, Angela & Kimberly Griffin, Jenn Rains, and Sherri Banovatz; great-nieces & great-nephews, Richie Harris, Brad (Lacey) Galbreath, Bryant Harris, Brianna Neal, Karlie & Emma Felts, Troy (Rachel) Galbreath, and Kristi (Richard, Jr.) Rediker; sisters-in-law, Jackie (Wayne) Griffin, Judith Mills, and Dianne Coles; and special friend, Marilyn White.
