Obituary: Roger Dale Binkley, 67

Roger Dale Binkley, age 67, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022.

He was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on March 3, 1955. He was a good man, hard worker, and provider for his family. He was a maintenance worker for U.S. Rollerworks.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Maydell and Flora (Roberts) Binkley; mother-in-law, Christine Underwood; and son-in-law, David Matthews, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Donnell) Binkley; sons, Roger Dale Scott Binkley (Tracy) and Benjamin Underwood (Margaret); daughters, Loretta Binkley, Christina Binkley, Christy Matthews, and Tammy Kirby (Ben); brother, Gary Binkley; sister, Gail Barnhill; sixteen grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 2:30pm in the chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Moore officiating. Burial will follow at EverRest of Cheatham, LLC, in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 21, 2022, from 3pm to 7pm and Thursday, September 22, 2022, from 10am until 1pm.
