Robert Steven “Steve” Wright, age 66 of Joelton, Tennessee, died Saturday, February 13, 2021 at NorthCrest Medical Center.
A memorial service will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 2:00PM on Sunday, February 28th, with his uncle, Jerry Raymer officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, from 11:00AM until the hour of service at 2:00PM.
Mr. Wright was born on February 10th, 1955 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Cecil and Mary Wilson Wright. He was a retired Maintenance Supervisor for the Metro Nashville Government and loved racing and making people laugh no matter what the circumstances. He was a caring father and grandfather who loved his family, especially his grandchildren. When you were befriended by Steve, you were a friend for life.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Mark Wright; and his brother, Randall Wright.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Donna Wright; daughter, Dana (Jimbo) Bannister; sister, Diane (Gary) McCutcheon; grandchildren, Courtney Bannister, Katelyn Wright, and Madison Wright; loving nieces & nephews; and special family, Tracey Storey, Frankie Resha, Jeremy McCutcheon, Ronnie Hutton, Phil & Betty Welker, and Dwyane & Gail Chaffin.
