Michael Steven “Steve” Cunningham, age 64, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Steve was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on September 22, 1956, to the William “Bill” G. and Christine Barnes Cunningham. He was a member of the Cheatham County High School Class of 1974 and worked and retired from doing construction and owning his own business with Cunningham Construction. Steve is preceded in death by his father, Bill Cunningham.
He is survived by his mother, Christine Barnes Cunningham; wife, Karen Cunningham; sons, Chris (Cassi) Cunningham and Jarrett (Dana) Cunningham; daughter, Demetra (Bubba) Gibbs; sisters, Sandra (Clyde) Allen and Wanda (Jimmy) Sisk; 9 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandbaby.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Josh Hackney, Blaine Gibbs, Noah Cunningham, Jimmy Sisk, Clyde Allen, Pete Holliman. Honorary pallbearer is Gordon Beasley.
