Obituary: Mary Elizabeth “Snapper” Ford-Palmer, 80Mary Elizabeth “Snapper” Ford-Palmer, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Diversicare of Smyrna in Smyrna, Tennessee. Mary was born in Ashland City, Tennessee, on September 3, 1940, to the late Joshua and Anna Pearl Binkley Ford. She was a graduate of Cheatham County Central High School, Class of 1960 and worked for Acme Boot for over 25 years, cleaned houses for many years and also worked at the Country Junction Restaurant before retiring. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon Palmer; and son, Wayne Palmer. Mary is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Bud) Manley; brother, Randall (Angela) Ford and their children, Jennifer (Robert) Clayton, Danielle (Kelly) McColl, Daramy (Doreen) Ford, Allan (Theresa) Daugherty, Mary Anne Jones, Raymond Daugherty, Ernest Jennings; grandchildren, Christopher Wayne (Leslie) Palmer and Gary Neal (Lydia) Manley, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Sara Grace Palmer, Gavin Manley, Conner Manley, and Bentley Saunders; and many great-nieces and nephews.
