Margaret Deloris (Brown) Head, 76, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021.
Deloris was born on March 31, 1945, to Herbert and Florine Brown of Westmoreland, TN, who preceded her in death. She was the younger sister to Charlotte Brown Jackson of Brentwood, TN, who survives her.
She is survived by her husband Tommy Head, her adoring sons Derrick (Jennifer) of Alpharetta, GA, and David of Nashville, TN, her grandson Connor, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Deloris grew up in Westmoreland, Tennessee, and attended Cumberland College, where she met Tommy. She and Tommy had been married for 54 years, and they lived their married life in a house that Tommy built on Hazel Drive. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she dedicated her life to her family, her church, and her community. She will be greatly missed by all who love her.
Austin and Bell Funeral Home of Pleasant View will be handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, 5050 Pickering Road, Clarksville, TN 37043, or the Mt. Carmel UMC Cemetery Fund, 425 Mt. Carmel Road, Clarksville, TN 37043.
