Kenneth Randall Overstreet, age 71, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on December 11, 2023, at his home in Ashland City, Tennessee.
Kenneth was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on June 5, 1952, to the late Edgar and Audrey (Elliott) Overstreet. He worked as a commercial truck driver and owned his own company, Overstreet Trucking. In retirement he opened and ran a flower and fruit stand and loved talking with all his customers. He also had an avid love for golf and enjoyed many golfing trips with his best friend and brother-in-law, Johnny Bobbitt.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Bertha, Shirley, and Sue; his brothers, James, Wallace, Raymond, Jimmy, and Edgar Jr. Overstreet; and adoptive brother, Eddie Overstreet. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years Vickie Overstreet; mother-in-law, Harriett Shadowens; son, Randell Overstreet; sister, Donna Knox (Tony); adoptive brothers, Wallace, Dennis, and Stanley Overstreet; and loving in-laws, Nancy Bobbitt, Kimberly Binkley (Wendell), and Sherry Hughes (Reginald).
Funeral service for Kenneth will be Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 12 noon in the Chapel with Wallace Overstreet officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 13th from 3pm until 7pm and on Thursday before the service from 10am until the service hour of 12 noon.
