Hudgens, Katie Mai, age 93, Ashland City, TN, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at her home in Vantage Pointe Village in Ashland City, TN.
Katie Mai worked for many years in the public sector and as a homemaker in her later years, she was also a member of Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Franklin and Georgia Davis Cannon; husband, Donald Grant Hudgens; sons, Chester Don, Steven Ray Hudgens; brothers, Willie Ray, Richard Don, Archie Wayne Cannon; sister, Judy Webb.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Shallin Hudgens; great granddaughters Claire Hudgens, Rayleigh Wright; sisters, Nancy Newland, Melba Pardue, Joyce Evans, Betty Winters, Wanda Bates, Janice (Rickey) Thomas; sister-in-laws, Carol Fogg Cannon, Jane Hudgens, Linda Shivers, Elva Smith.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 3pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hudgens Cemetery in Ashland City, TN. Family will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Cheatham County Funeral Home on Thursday, October 26, 2023, from 3pm to 7pm and on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 1pm until hour of service at 3pm.
