Harland “Doc” Hunt Shearron, age 96, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away in Nashville, Tennessee, on Monday, February 27, 2023.
He was born in Cheatham County, Tennessee, on September 14, 1926, to the late Sterling Shearron and Essie (Hunt) Shearron. He was a member of the Neptune Clifton United Methodist Church. He worked in the heavy construction industry for W. L. Hailey in maintenance.
Harland is preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Shearron; and sister, Iris Shearron Albright (William E.). He is survived by his nieces, Cathy Turner (Tim) and Billie Jayroe (Tom); great nieces, Julie Pillow and Courtney Jayroe; and great nephews, Brian Turner (Krissy) and Blake Jayroe (Lauren).
