Obituary: Gloria Faye Ross, 80

Gloria Faye Ross, age 80, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Gloria was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on February 24, 1941, to the late John A. Elder, Sr., and Eunice Cantrell Elder.

She was a housewife and homemaker to her husband and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John A. Elder, Jr. and Roger Don Elder; sisters, Linda Gail Johnson, Mary Ann Suell, and Donna Crowell; and daughter-in-law, Judy Ross. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Ross; son, Richard M. Ross; daughter, Sherry Hunnell (Thomas); grandchildren, Chad Hunnell (Ashley), Chase Hunnell, and Michael Ross (Anna Katherine); great-grandchildren, Brendan Monroe, Clayton Hunnell, Rhett Hunnell, Audrey Hunnell, and Eli Ross; in-laws, Roy Biggs, David Crowell, Mary Elder, Tommy Jones, and Yvonne Ross, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 12noon in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home.
