Gary “Bubba-Gatty” Wayne Oliver, age 51 of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at St. Thomas West in Nashville.
A memorial service will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 5:00PM on Sunday, October 3rd, with Pastor Chris Royalty officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 2nd from 3-6PM and again on Sunday from 3:00PM until the hour of service at 5:00PM.
Gary was born on May 10th, 1970 in Nashville, Tennessee. He worked as an electrician. He loved to play softball, golf, and enjoyed eating. Gary was an avid Alabama fan.
He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny W. Oliver; maternal grandparents, John & Nelda Perry; paternal grandfather, Johnny Oliver; and uncle, Johnny Perry.
He is survived by his mother, Tonnie Trotter (Donald Crotzer); sisters, Terri (Kenny) Smith and Chelsea (Scotty) Collins; grandmother, Myrtle Oliver; uncles, Gary Lee Oliver & Darnell (Susie) Oliver; nieces, Amelia Collins & Kayla Smith; and nephew, Charlie Collins.
