Obituary: Frederick Matthew Bell, 56

Mr. Frederick Matthew Bell known as “Matt Dillon” to some and “Metro” to others passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022, at the age of 56.

He was born on October 9, 1965, to Glenal (Harold G.) Bell and William Lee in Dickson County. Matthew was a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Charlotte, Tn, and was a jack of all trades from barbequing, concreting, carpentry, seasonal tobacco working, and mastering every task while being left-handed. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to whoever doing whatever they asked of him.

His smile was always the same and saying “Thank You” was easy for him.

Matthew was preceded in death by his mother, Glenal Bell, grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.
