Ernest “Ernie” Wenczl, age 91 of Pleasant View, Tennessee died Monday, October 5, 2020 at his home.
Mr. Wenczl was born on August 4, 1929 in Magyarovar, Hungary to the late Gustav and Elisabeth Wenczl. He was retired from State Industries where he worked for over 30 years as Vice President of Product Development & Research. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and he loved to cook and had a passion for music.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by the mother of his children, Èva Wenczl; brother, Stephen Wenczl; and a nephew, Barnabas Nagy.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Wenczl; daughters, Edie Wenczl, Èva “Kuki” Lewis (Jack Hohimer) and Esther Stewart (Lee); sister, Olga Nagy; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Joseph, Alex, Emme, Estee, William, and Jonathan; two great-grandchildren; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Mr. Wenczl’s remains will be cremated and there are no services planned.
