Eleanor Hunt Head, age 95 of Clarksville, Tennessee, died Thursday, December 31, 2020 at her home.
A graveside service will be conducted at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery at 2 o’ clock PM on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021 with Bro. Jim Clark and Pastor Nate Partee officiating. Burial will follow with Jason Head, Ben Lawrence, Doug Hitchon, Jamie Head, Terry Head, Keith Head, Max Hunt, and Don Hunt serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View from 5:00-7:00PM, on Friday, January 1st, 2021.
Mrs. Head was born on February 11, 1925 in Pleasant View, Tennessee to the late Sterling Gaines and Charlie Williams Hunt. She was a homemaker and held the distinct honor of being the oldest living member of the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Conroy Head; brothers, Vernon, Lauren, Leonard, Harry, Benson, Lloyd, & Joe Hunt; and sisters, Mary Lucy Shearron, and Lillian Fort.
Survivors include her son, Johnny (Anne) Head, grandchildren, Jason (Julie) Head, and Susan (Ben) Lawrence; great-grandchildren, Ella Kate Head, John Clay Head, and Margaret Head.
