Donna Kay Allen, age 78, passed away November 23, 2020. She was born July 31, 1942, to the late Buster and Blanche Nicholson.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Hicks Allen (the love of her life), brother, Bernard Nicholson and sister, LaVerne (Myrnie) Corbin. She is survived by her children, Cheryl Logan, Jill (Les) Scott, and Bryan (Stephanie) Allen; grandchildren, Kaycee Logan, Jennifer (Chris) Brake, Allen Scott, Sarah Allen and Rachel Allen. Donna was Good Mama to great-grandchildren, Brayden, Khloe, Kingston, Izaiah, Mason, and Briliey.
She also leaves behind sister, Doris (Ed) Hinkle and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Carol Allen and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Donna was a proud member of the Clarksville High School Class of 1960. She spent her life being a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed tremendously by all.
A memorial service will be Sunday, November 29, 2020, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 3:30pm in Gupton Cemetery in Henrietta, Tennessee. Visitation will be Sunday before the service from 12noon until service hour of 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Donna’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
