Donald E. Binkley “Donnie”, age 84 of Joelton, Tennessee, died Sunday, September 12, 2021 at St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville.
Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 1:00PM on Thursday, September 16th, with Bro. Randy Riggs officiating. Burial will follow in Good Springs Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 15th from 4:00PM until 7:00PM and again on Thursday from 12:00PM until the hour of service at 1:00PM.
Mr. Binkley was born on December 10th, 1936 in Cheatham County, Tennessee to the late Ira Haywood & Ethel Martin Binkley. He was retired from Pepsi Cola Company, and loved to play golf & country style dancing. He was a Christian.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Jeff Binkley; and brothers Thomas, Paul, Ray, John, & David Binkley.
Survivors include his son, Lee (Jan) Binkley; daughter, Denise (Jim) Bradshaw; brother, Jerry (Nora) Binkley; sisters, Ruth Felts, Marie Wheeler, Janice (Rodney) Ford, and Yvonne Merritt; grandchildren, Seth (Jessica) Willis, and Kelsey Binkley; step-grandchildren, Paul (Lacey) Douglas, and Seth (Nilah) Douglas; special cousin, Jimmy Bracey.
