Obituary: Deana Marie (Binkley) Norwood, 54

Deana Marie (Binkley) Norwood, age 54, of Chapmansboro, Tennessee, passed away at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, on Monday, April 10, 2023.

She was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on May 5, 1968, to Terry D. Binkley and Patsy M. Perry. She attended Neptune Chapel. Deana was the owner and insurance agent of The Perry Group Inc.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lewis and Hazel Perry, and Jeff and Effie Binkley.

She is survived by her husband, Dean Norwood; parents, Patsy Perry (Randy Walker); father, Terry D. Binkley; son, Dawson Hall (Alex); sister, Tracy Thompson (Rick); nephews, Cody Thompson and Colton Thompson; one grandchild on the way; step grandchildren, Waylon, Natalee, and Keegan; step grandmother, Freda Perry; furbaby Maggie Mae; and the employees of The Perry Group.

Funeral service will be Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 12noon in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Kenny Hix officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 3pm to 8pm and Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 10am until the hour of service at 12noon. Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Thompson, Kaleb Ragan, Tyler Crowell, Dawson Hall, Gary Norwood, and Andrew Rediker. Honorary pallbearers are the employees of The Perry Group. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Cheatham County Lions Club, Cheatham County Animal Control, or the Ashland City Masonic Lodge.
