David “Cole” Hunter, age 37 of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Sunday, May 16, 2021 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 2:00PM on Friday, May 21, 2021 with Mark Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Fox Cemetery adjacent to the Hunter Farm with Daniel James, Joseph Ziegler, Bill Brinkley, J.J. Moulton, L.A. Altom, and Phil Parker serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Lance Ashton, Gabe Altom, Mack Williams, Randy Fox, Jeremy Ramsey, Ismael Villegas, and Chris Simmons.
Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00AM on Friday, May 21st, until the hour of service at 2:00PM.
Cole was born on March 1, 1984 in Nashville, Tennessee to Phyllis Ramsey Hunter and the late David “Chief” Hunter. He was a farmer and was CEO of Hunter’s Flagpole Company. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed collecting metals and other items for scrap metal. Cole loved his Mountain Dew, the Big Gulp, and especially his Big Dog Roscoe.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Buford “Blackie” and Doris Hunter & Jesse and Mary Ramsey.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by sisters, Maribeth Hunter-Singer and Sloane Hunter; and nieces, Skylar and Emma Singer.
