Pleasant View is home to a new nail salon, Pleasant Nails, conveniently located in The Village. Pleasant Nails, which opened on March 6, 2024, offers a number of manicure, pedicure, children's, and waxing services. Customers can also expect a bright, clean, and welcoming atmosphere available to them seven days a week.
Not only is the new salon much welcomed by the community, it is also a dream come true for owner Bella Le.
Le moved to Long Island from Vietnam eight years ago at the age of 18. Not long after relocating to the United States, she began doing nails and quickly had aspirations to open her own shop. She had never owned a business before, but she had a supportive husband and loyal customers in Clarksville who helped make her dream a reality.
Le and her husband were drawn to Pleasant View because of its prime location off the interstate and its small-town charm. They chose The Village specifically because it reminded them of the town they lived in when they were in Massachusetts.
"It immediately felt like home," Le said. "We fell in love with everything from the people to the local restaurants and shops. We are so glad to be here, and look forward to serving the community for many years to come."
While on the journey to open Pleasant Nails, Le and her husband found out they were expecting their first child. Their new addition will arrive in July. "We couldn't be happier," Le said of her pregnancy.
Beginning Friday, March 22, Pleasant Nails will be hosting a grand opening celebration that will last through the weekend. Customers can expect discounted services, snacks, drinks, and even gifts. After this weekend, customers can enjoy 20-percent off of all services until March 31, 2024.
Pleasant Nails, located at 144 Centre Street, is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00am-7:30pm and Sundays from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.
