National 4-H Week is just around the corner (October 6-12), and September is the perfect time to get youth involved. UT Extension’s 4-H program provides hands-on learning in science, agriculture, healthy living, and leadership for youth across Tennessee.
Families are encouraged to sign up for clubs, after-school programs, or fall projects now so that children can begin the year ready to learn and grow.
To celebrate National 4-H Week, UT Extension suggests five ways to participate:
Enroll in a local 4-H club.
Volunteer as a project leader.
Share your 4-H story on social media.
Participate in a service project.
Attend local 4-H events.
