The Cheatham County Wrestling Club recently returned from a six-day trip (July 13-18, 2024) to the TLAN (Train Like A Norseman) Wrestling Camp at Luther College in Decorah, IA. The local group of wrestlers were the only athletes from Tennessee at the camp, with the rest being from Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
The team took second place in their dual team pool, and placed in an individual tournament on the last day of the camp.
RESULTS:
Cooper Cantrel - 4th, Caden Ospina - 1st, Oakley Davis - 8th, Jesse Carney - 4th, Gage Forsythe - 4th, Nickels Hargrove- 4th, Landon Steele - did not wrestle, Christian Honeycutt - 4th, Magnus Johnson - 5th, and Kekoa Jines - did not wrestle.
Kekoa Jines received the "Wrestler of the Day" award for the team.
