The Cheatham County Wrestling Club took seven wrestlers to the Fellow Christian Athletes Wrestling Camp in Campbellsville, Kentucky from June 10 to June 12, 2022.

The camp, held at Campbellsville University, focused on wrestling techniques, dual competitions, and Christian values.

Four middle school wrestlers (Tyler Steele, Nick Hargrove, Evan Ehman, and Oakley Davis) along with three high school wrestlers (Ethan Steele, Caden Ospina, and Sumner Boyd) received wrestling instruction and testimonies from former Olympians and college-level wrestlers, such as: Nate Carr, Joe Carr Sr., Jim Gruenwald, Barry Davis, Nashant Garret, Heath Eslinger, and others.

"We were proud of these young men for furthering their wrestling knowledge in such a positive Christian environment," coaches say. "The wrestlers enjoyed the camp and plan to return next season as well."
