Local Students Attend SCOPE Conference

Junior Jackson Reed and senior Naomi Strader of Sycamore High School recently attended the Tennessee School Boards Association’s annual Student Congress on Policies in Education (SCOPE) conference at Belmont University in Nashville.

The annual conference brings together students in grades 9-12 from across the state to discuss current topics in education.

Students explored education issues through mock school board meetings, group discussions, and debates with their peers.
