Local Real Estate Broker Featured in Vanity Fair

BY: Micca Terrell

A local real estate broker is being honored with two major achievements: Amanda Bell, owner of At Home Realty, was featured in a recent issue of Vanity Fair magazine and also received the 2020 Diamond Elite Award from the Greater Nashville Realtors for achieving $40 million or more in gross sales and/or leases or a minimum of 150 transactions.

The April 2021 Vanity Fair feature was part of a series of articles on the top businesswomen in Tennessee, Bell said. The report included questions about how her morals and values worked hand-in-hand with her business acumen, and also how she feels about her service to her clients.

“You have to stay true to the clients you serve,” she said. “Every buyer is important no matter what the price range.”

What makes being featured in a nationally distributed magazine even more special, Bell said, is that “I’m not a Nashville agent. At Home Realty is privately owned. We’re a small fish in a big pond.”

Regarding the Diamond Elite Award, she said it’s the fourth time she has received the distinction, which is “absolute top level as far as tiered categories go.”

Being based in Cheatham County is a great thing, Bell said, because even though the community is smaller, there are always big ideas growing here.

“We’ve also always had big names living in our community. Cheatham County has always been a hidden treasure, and it’s an amazing feeling to see our county noticed,” she said.

“I don’t want everyone to know what we have here, but in the same breath, with all the hate and meanness going on, it’s great to know that we are a kind and caring community. Whether it’s a house fire or an illness, our community wraps itself around people in need, and it reaffirms that there are still places out there that have kindness,” Bell said.

At Home Realty is located at 124 North Main St., Ashland City, Tenn., and the phone is 615-792-6100. Their website is www.athomerealtyteam.com.
