Literacy Grant to Help Cheatham County Students

One of only 13 districts chosen, the Cheatham County School District has received a grant from the Tennessee Department of Education. The $83,000 Literacy Network of Support Grant will be used to pay for the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching that will provide support to the county's middle schools.

Funds will also be used for travel stipends for our teachers and administrators to visit other districts chosen for this grant.
