Taking a spiritually-integrative approach, professionally trained therapists will help local clients with a variety of issues including: depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief and loss, addiction, trauma, and stress.

In addition to in-person counseling, Insight offers session online via telehealth, further expanding access to life-saving care.

Charitable donations allow Insight to provide counseling on an income-based fee scale.

Insight is a nonprofit organization founded in Nashville in 1985, and the Cheatham County office is the newest of 10 locations in Middle Tennessee. Insight’s work in Cheatham County began in 2022 in partnership with The Senior Center at Ashland City. A grant from the Dugas Family Foundation enabled Insight to expand services by opening the counseling office.

"We have heard time and again that Cheatham County has a shortage of mental health resources, yet such supports are needed now more than ever," said Pam Brown, Insight’s executive director. "Insight Counseling Centers is honored to open an office in the county, and we are tremendously grateful to our generous partners who are helping us do so. The Dugas Family Foundation provided us with necessary start-up support. The Church of Christ at Cheap Hill is providing us with pro bono office space.  We look forward to offering counseling on an income-based fee scale to residents of this beautiful community."

I am so delighted to expand our physical presence in the community with our new office at the Church of Christ at Cheap Hill. My sincere hope is that we may extend healing and wholeness to anyone who seeks it," Medeiros said.
