Fresh Course, Same Cause: Booby Bolt Heads to New Spot in October

Lace up your sneakers and show your support for breast cancer awareness at this year’s Booby Bolt & Fun Run, taking place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Pleasant View Community Park.


This annual event, hosted by Pink Out for Hope, kicks off a morning of fitness, remembrance, and community support with activities for all ages and fitness levels.


Race Day Schedule:

  • 1-Mile Fun Run – 8:00 a.m.

  • Survivor Recognition Walk – 8:15 a.m.

  • Booby Bolt 5K – 8:30 a.m.

  • Awards Ceremony – Immediately following the 5K

Whether you're a serious runner, a casual walker, or coming to cheer on loved ones, there's a meaningful way for everyone to participate.

Registration & Packet Pickup

Race-day registration opens at 7:30 a.m. at the park. Early registration is highly encouraged, as swag bags are limited and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.Swag bag pick-up will be held on Thursday, October 2, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Pleasant View First Baptist Church, located at 2555 Hwy 49 E.


Entry Fees

  • 5K Individual Entry: $40

  • Group Rate (8+ runners): $35 per person

  • Race-Day Registration: $50 (no group rate)

  • Kids’ Fun Run (ages 12 and under): $20

Note: There is no race-day registration for the Kids’ Fun Run. All kids will receive a T-shirt and medal. T-shirts for adult participants are not guaranteed after September 16.

  • Runners will start first, with walkers following behind.

  • For safety, headphones and pets are discouraged.

  • No refunds will be issued.
