March 19th, 2021, the Cheatham County Soil Conservation District will host their annual seedling giveaway in recognition of both Arbor Day and Earth Day. Free seedlings will be given to Cheatham County landowners.
Two types of seedlings will be given away, including: White Christmas Pines and Northern Red Oak beginning at 9AM at the Soil Conservation District Office located at 1104 N. Main St. Ashland City.
About 1000 seedlings will be distributed, at approximately 10-15 seedlings per person, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Only Cheatham County landowners are eligible.
