Dolly Parton Classic Featured at Oct. 10 Movie on the Lawn

A Dolly Parton-themed Movie on the Lawn will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, on the Cheatham County Courthouse lawn in Ashland City. The event will run from 5 to 9 p.m., with activities beginning at 5 p.m. The featured movie, the 1980 comedy “9 to 5,” will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m.

The evening will celebrate Dolly Parton with music, a movie and activities for the community. Popcorn, snacks and drinks will be available during the event. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for the outdoor movie.

Proceeds from Movie on the Lawn will benefit the Imagination Library for Cheatham County, which provides books to local children and promotes early literacy.
