The district's five-year plan was adopted in 2018 and will be updated

The Cheatham County School District is seeking input from all stakeholders – students, parents, employees and community members – to help shape its scope of work from 2023-2028.
The district’s five-year plan — which outlines our vision, mission, values and goals — was adopted in February 2018.
It is now time to update the plan for the next five years.
Director of Schools Dr. Cathy Beck and her staff are assessing the current plan and seeking input from stakeholders through an online survey on what should be included in the new plan.
“I’m so proud of what we have accomplished over the last five years,” Beck said. “The time has come to realign our focus and our priorities, and this process will only be effective if our stakeholders take the time to weigh in.”
The goal is to present a draft plan to the Cheatham County School Board in the spring so school leaders can begin the implementation process and allocating budget resources.
“I’m confident that together we can develop a plan that will continue to move our district forward,” Beck said.
The survey consists of three questions: What are you most proud of? What must we maintain? and What are our next steps?
